⚠️ Important: DO NOT use this drain for custom-tiled shower floors (hot mop or membrane liner systems), as this will cause leaks and void your warranty.
What size opening do i need in my shower pan?
This drain is engineered to fit standard US shower bases. For a secure, flush installation, please verify both dimensions below:
- Drain Hole: 3-1/4" to 3-1/2"
- Top Recess: Your shower pan's recessed area must be 4-1/4" to 4-1/2" wide to accommodate the top flange.
What size waste pipe is compatible with this drain?
Fits Standard 2-Inch Schedule 40 Waste Pipes.
💡 Installation Tip: For a perfect, leak-proof seal, ensure your pipe is clean, deburred, and cut evenly according to your shower pan manufacturer's height specifications. (Note: Drain pipe is not included).
Do I need glue to install this drain?
No Solvent Cement Required.
This is a No-Caulk drain that uses a specialized compression gasket to mechanically lock onto the waste pipe - so you do not need messy solvent glue or PVC cement for the connection.
💡 Pro Tip: You will only need a bead of 100% silicone sealant (not putty) under the upper flange to create a water-tight seal against your shower pan surface.
